ABOUT THE WEATHER IN ERITREA
Summer months are APRIL to AUGUST can be hot with temperature reaching up 40 degrees.100 degree on the western plateau .Although temperatures really drop blow 18 degree.64 degree a long the coast, winters in the central and western plateau regions.
DECEMBER to FEBRUARY can be freezing with dramatic temperature difference between day & night. The short rainy season is usually between March to APRIL and a longer one from late June to the beginning of SEPTEMBER. ERITREA is a year round destination for the highlands while at other places. It depends on the place one spend most of ones HOLIDAYS in or the activities one wishes to undertake.
